Starting with the Board of our Directors all the way down to the volunteers that fill water balloons for our annual summer parties, every person that works within our Charitable Organization is considered an equal in our book. In 2007, our founder wanted to show his then 6-year-old daughter a lesson in giving. So, they both went to the store to purchase toys, games, and sports equipment. They then took these items to their local Childrens home, rang the doorbell and introduced themselves. They gave everything they had to that Children's home as a Christmas gift, that was year one.

Our Mission
Something Bigger Than Yourself has devoted its energy to passionately advocate for less fortunate children living in residential homes and orphanages, the individual child that faces terminally ill conditions, and the elderly living in retirement communities throughout the United States. We provide gifts and services to uplift the spirits of both the homes and the individual.

For 19 Years, we at SBTY have celebrate the joy of Christmas by doing so with live events for the children. We have rented arcades, waterparks, and all kinds of cool places... but for the last 3 years in a row, our bowling alley Christmas event just seems to bring everyone together in such a larger capacity. There will be live music, pinatas, dance competitions, costumes, prizes, games, and total happiness. Come sponsor a lane and bring your group to bowl or just show up and spread the holiday cheer with us. starts at 6pm.

This year, we are celebrating in style at one of St. Louis' most popular music venues, The Charlack Pub. Barnes Jewish Hospital is one of our favorite spots to give gifts to Children. This young man had serious health complications. He did not know who Andy Summers of the world-famous band THE POLICE is... He does now. We gave this as a gift to him to elevate his spirits as he went through difficult times. It is hand signed by Andy.
